NEVER SETTLE

In a paired interest of preserving Southwest tradition and maintaining the old American standard of craftsmanship, I’ve been constantly challenged to never settle.

Today we collect things that were made in the mid-century when there was still a high standard for craftsmanship. It used to be the American way, but somewhere along the path we veered. Now everything seems to be made quick and easy and it always comes at the expense of quality. We’ve lost the soul of craftsmanship. The discipline, the patience, and wonder of it all.

Few have the desire and conviction to pursue higher standards. It’s been said, good things don’t come easy. This is true in life in general. Doing hard things isn’t always fun but on the other side is a great reward worthy of the struggle that got you there.
